CCDBG Reauthorization CCDBG is scheduled for reauthorization in 2010 but the reauthorization may be delayed. The National Association of State Child Care Administrators, an APHSA affiliate, is developing detailed proposals for child care reauthorization. The proposals will be posted here when they are completed. NASCCA submitted a letter to the Administration on May 2, 2010, urging the White House to drop a proposal to divert $400 million from CCDBG for the Early Learning Challenge Fund. The letter is posted at www.aphsa.org/Home/Doc/APHSA_WHLetteronCCDBG_ELCF.pdf. Current Legislation H.R. 3221, the Early Learning Challenge Fund, passed the House on Sept. 17, 2009.
